ANGIST (Iceland) “Circle of Suffering” CD EP review

By Sergio Fernandez

Even without an LP under his belt, ANGIST Icelanders have demonstrated through their demo in 2010 and his latest EP titled “Circle of Suffering” you are a band to be reckoned within the European extreme scene. ANGIST account in his training with a couple of women among which the vocalist Edda Tegeder Óskarsdóttir with her powerful throaty voice, while also showing some versatility across different records.

The variety is also apparent in the five compositions that make up the EP, as brutal fast find parts that tear your ears with a battery hellish riffs and a series of serious or half-times dense Doom-style metal. All this combined makes this “Circle of Suffering” is a material that deserves to be heard by any self-respecting follower end, as it contains all the elements needed to make some good songs, coupled with a sober and perfect execution will improve benefits cuts.

“Circle of Suffering” is pure uncompromising death metal that will shatter the neck to the sound of songs like “Godless” or “Death Incarnate”.
